Riverside Superior Court Accepting Civil Grand Jury Applications - Deadline April 3, 2026

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The Riverside Superior Court is  accepting applications from qualified Riverside County residents interested in being nominated to serve as Civil Grand Jurors for the term July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

Civil Grand Jurors play a vital role in local government oversight by reviewing and evaluating the operations of county and city government to help ensure efficiency, transparency, and accountability in the best interest of the public.

Reflecting on their experience, a member of the Civil Grand Jury for the 2025–2026 term, emphasized the personal and professional value of service:

“I joined the Civil Grand Jury with limited knowledge of its role and no prior experience writing Civil Grand Jury reports. Throughout the term, I was guided and supported by fellow jurors, making the experience both educational and deeply rewarding. Serving on the Grand Jury gave me a greater understanding of Riverside County and a profound appreciation for the dedicated individuals who serve the public. The County leadership I encountered demonstrated thoughtful, committed, and responsible stewardship. Working with jurors of diverse perspectives and backgrounds strengthened my understanding of collaboration toward shared goals. I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to serve.”
