Court Reservation System (CRS)
The Court Reservation System (CRS) allows users to reserve a motion hearing date. The use of the Court Reservation System is for all limited civil, unlimited civil and unlawful detainer courtrooms within the Riverside Superior Court. Parties can utilize CRS to make and manage their own hearing reservations, within parameters set by the courtrooms. CRS is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
You will not be charged the applicable motion filing fee and/or first paper fee at the time you make your reservation. You will be charged the applicable motion filing fee and/or first paper fee at the time you file the motion. You will be charged the applicable $20.00 continuance fee if you reschedule your hearing reservation.
After you make your reservation, the Court will send a reservation email to the e-mail address that you provided. The email will include a Reservation ID and PIN that will be required should you wish to reprint your receipt, update your contact information, reschedule or cancel your reservation. Receiving the email does not mean your motion has been added to the court's calendar.

Litigants may request the following law and motion hearing types:
- Trial/Non-Trial Related Ex-Partes
- Motion for Summary Judgment
- Anti-SLAPP Motions
- Civil Discovery Motions
- Motions to Strike
- Demurrers
- All General Motions
All motions and related documents shall be filed with the clerk’s office according to statute. Once this paperwork is filed with the court your request shall be confirmed.
The following motions may not be scheduled online and must be filed at the applicable court location:
- Motions on Small Claims Cases
- Civil Motions for New Trial
- Civil Motions to Set Aside Judgment
- Civil Motions Notwithstanding Verdict
- Motions in Limine
- Default Prove-Up
Parties may postpone existing motion hearing requests under the following circumstances:
- The existing request is scheduled 30 or more days out - general motions
- The existing request is scheduled 90 or more days out - summary judgments
Please Note: You will be charged a fee of $20 for each postponement when the motion is filed.
The moving party is responsible for preparing and serving any notices relating to a postponement of a motion request hearing date (if applicable). The court will not notify any parties of request postponements.
